UPDATE ON ATHLETES PARTICIPATING IN THE SUMMER BOWL IN TTO

Henry and Cyril advances to the main draw of the of the Summer Bowl in TTO.

Two St Lucian athletes are currently in Trinidad & Tobago competing in the COTECC Summer Bowl Tennis Tournament which started on Saturday 12th August and scheduled to end this week Thursday 17th August. 

Jaelyn Henry is registered to compete in the girls U14 draw where she will face athletes from Curacao, Trinidad & Tobago and El Salvador. Her first singles was against Cyra Ramcharran from Trinidad & Tobago where she won in three sets 4-1 2-4 4-2, she then faced Shiloh Walker and lost in straight sets 1-4 3-5, he last match to qualify for the main draw was played against Elyse Fergusson where she pulled it off in straight sets 4-2 5-3. She was positioned 2 in her group and advnaced to the main draw where she will be facing Aba Campbell-Smith in the quarter-final. 

Alhil Cyril U12 sensation and number one ranked U14 national athlete in St Lucia had a smooth sailing in the round robin and is in the main draw to face Jacob Jacelon from Trinidad & Tobago in the first round.
