ST LUCIA TO BE REPRESENTED AT JITIC U14 CARIBBEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Three girls and two boys will be representing the island at the annual regional tournament at the National Racquet Club in Tacarigua, Trinidad & Tobago. 

The St. Lucia Tennis Association hosted a national try-out for the teams who will be representing the island at the annual Regional JITIC u14 Caribbean Tennis Tournament 2019. The tournament will be hosted at the National Racquet Club in Tacarigua, Trinidad and Tobago from the 6th to 12th July, 2019. The team is set to leave island on Friday 5th July.

The team comprises of three girls and two boys. The girls are Jorja Mederick student of the Leon Hess Comprehensive Secondary School, Iyana Paul student of the Balata Combined School and Alysa Elliott student of the St. Joseph's Convent. On the boys side we have Arden Rosemond number 1 ranked 14s player in St. Lucia student of the St. Mary's College and Saneil Bernard student of the Corinth Secondary School. The team is captained by Coach Scyla Murray.

The Tennis Association expects the players to do well as they take on the rest of the region for the championship.
