CHAMPIONS ARE CROWNED

The St. Lucia Tennis Association hosted their first ever Annual Awards at the National Tennis Centre in Beasejour, Gros-Islet on Saturday 25th January, 2019. 

Support and the drive from the Tennis Association Parents Committee made this event the success that it was as their main objective was to show appreciation and recognize all stakeholders in the Association. 

The winners per category are listed;

1. Esteemed Award for Sporting Excellence- Ron Blanchard
2. Coach of the Year- Vernon Lewis
3. Academy of the Year-  Acers Tennis Club.
4. Sportsman of the Year- Maxx William
5. Sports Woman of the Year- Meggan William
6. Junior Sportsman of the Year- Jordan Hunte
7. Junior Sportswoman of the year-  Iyana Paul
8. Team of the year- Jorja Mederick and Alysa Elliott 
9. Top high performance athletes per category and gender.

• Under 12s- Boy Jaidyn Mathew, Girl Latoya Murray 
• Under 14 - Boy Arden Rosemond, Girl Iyana Paul
• Under 16- Boy Maxx William, Girl Alysa Elliott
• Under 18- Boy Maxx William, Girl Aviona Edmund

11. Community Achievement Award- Ricardo Francois
12. Technical Official Award- Catherine Morille
13. Posthumous Award-Una Francis

15. Hall of Fame Induction - Te first inductee into the Hall of Fame is Vernon Lewis.
